Thanks for all you do for Hyde Park here and I wish I was in town for this meeting as the Park needs some serious TLC!
ReplyDeleteBUT I'm wondering if all of your readers who care about the Parks and HP generally know to call 311 to report overflowing trash can/litter strewn areas/grafitti ??? Then the city will take care of it. The more who call, the more the responds.
SO I'm thinking if Hyde Parkers call 311 more often, the neighborhood including the parks will benefit!
While attending Kenwood Academy in the 80's, I used to hang out in that park, all the time. Plenty of times Harold Washington would drive by and wave hello, as he read his bible.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been in that area in a long time!
