I'm sure Hyde Parkers have plenty of gravitas and quiet dignity when they go outside the neighborhood to shop for hotels, food, clothing, auto body work, movies, restaurants, medical care, and, in this case: the world's biggest party.

there is a downside to all of this. With 51st Street blocked between Drexel and Woodlawn, I have to walk further to the bus stop.

But I guess I could use the exercise.
