Hyde Park Hero

In the continuing series of HYDE PARK HEROES we present to you...

Neo Gullstrom, Peapod Driver Extraordinaire.

For customer service beyond the call of duty, and for his obvious love of his work, Neo Gullstrom is our Hyde Park Hero this week. Many Hyde Park businesses could learn a lot from Neo and from Peapod about how to keep customers and employees happy.

Hooray for Neo!

Your pup looks pretty appreciative...Neo must deliver the dog chow, too.

Testing for tenderness.

Neo was up on my floor this morning. He was running a special for $3.25/lb Angius burger patties.

Neo sighting: 12:30 Sunday August 12, unloading to the doorman at the Powhatan. Had to restrain myself from leaning out the window and shouting "howdy!"

He stops his truck to say hello to his customers when he sees them outside, and he beeps his horn whenever he sees them walking, biking, or jogging. He lives in Palatine, but he's like a wonderful neighbor when he's in Hyde Park.

Good hero choice! A few years ago, I went into labor on the morning I expected a PeaPod delivery. I left a message to that effect. Neo took my groceries to my parents' house and left them in the coolers there. I came home with baby and already set with groceries!
